OTTAWA, May 25 -- Police are searching for two suspects in connection with an explosion which has injured 15 people in an Indian restaurant in Mississauga, Canada Thursday night, local media reported Friday.
Three of the wounded suffered serious blast injuries and were hospitalized, according to CTV. The explosion in the Bombay Bhel restaurant occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. local time (0230 GMT on Friday) in the city's central district.
Police have released a security camera image of two men entering the restaurant with their faces covered. The restaurant was busy at the time of explosion.
Police said it was too early to say whether the blast was terror-related.
The Indian Consulate in Toronto has tweeted that it has opened a helpline for those seeking assistance following the explosion.(Xinhua)
